You mention overlooking those who serve. I wrote a rant post about that based on the disgusting behaviours around Remembrance Day I noticed on Friday...I'll post it later.
Look forward to reading your post, I find myself living in a country where so much is destroyed one cannot believe it is the same land you were brought up in.
