Hi there @quduus1
This is a terrible and horrifying way to be victimized . And after it happens, you feel a lot like your stupid or something. Most people think that they cannot be scammed, that they are smarter than the Scammer... Guess what ? You aren't. They can sneak up an knock you in the head b4 you even know what's happened.
I've been scammed... On the ads on the net. " Hurry hurry hurry before time runs out ! Etc " and the 1 that got me, advertised as being "JARED JEWELERS" 80 %OFF ON CLOSEOUT ITEMS". Thank goodness I used a secured credit card. Otherwise I would have been out a lot of $ but they did send me some costume jewelry and never could there be an address or phone # to be found.
Like I said...I was very lucky.
