About Last Weekend : Dating The Clingy Doggo "Coco" Out While His Hoomans Are Away + Unlimited Japanese Lunch

in Weekend Experiences3 years ago

I'm a fur mom of one playful and active dog named "Bolt". I named him such, as he's fast, and he's like always excited that he couldn't just stay in one place peacefully. Having said that, I never dared to bring him out for a long-hour date to malls, and some other places where there are big crowds. I'm a first-time fur mom, and I'm kinda afraid I couldn't make my pet behave accordingly amidst the crowd.

But this one hot afternoon, I dated Bolt's cousin named "Coco". He's my best friend's sister's pet. The plan was actually malling with the best friend, however, all the people (Coco's hoomans) in their house were going out too for some more important errands. So, we were just like volunteering to pet sit Coco while his main and all other hoomans are out. It sounded like an exciting challenge for us, and we were like "Why not?"

Coco was having zoomies as we were taking him to the car. His excitement was so prominent. He was really happy. He was glad that we take him out with us I guess. In the car, he'd got the fidgets, he kept moving restlessly. I was the one driving, while my best friend was the one in charge of Coco while in the car. Coco looked so impatient. He was crying and salivating a lot. We honestly didn't know how to calm him down. Best friend kept hugging and caressing him. But that didn't work well. Maybe, rolling down the car window would help. So, we did. Coco gently stick his head out the window, and there, he behaved.

The air was fresh, and maybe that was what he enjoyed. However, we didn't let that for long. We'd seen the risk, so we got Coco away from the window and rolled it close.

We wanted to go back and send Coco home as we also got impatient sitting the pretty doggo out. But the people were already on their separate errands. Left with no choice, we stayed with Coco until his other hoomans returned. We drove to a nearby mall and parked for a while. We just stayed inside the car, fed Coco, and played with him.

After about an hour and a half, my best friend's mom messaged, telling us that they were already home. It was such a delight! We immediately drove to their house and dropped Coco off, then went back to accomplish our delayed errands.

I got tired. It was an epic failed date with our loved Coco. I thought we could just handle him relaxingly. But he was so restless with us. My fur mom power didn't do well with him. We lost the challenge. We gave up.

We went on with our day, I accomplished my things scheduled that day, and the same went with my best friend too. Right after, we headed to a pet shop and looked for something for my furbaby Bolt and his cousin Coco. We bought them toys and some sanitary supplies.

After all those, we went to a neighboring restaurant we got to try for the first time. It's a Japanese restaurant,"Yakiniku". It offers a wide range of authentic Japanese foods that are unlimited. At first, I was so hesitant to get in, it might not please my palate, and I might regret it. But yes, how will I know if I would not try? So, we went on.

We got Miso Ramen, Tempura, Gyoza, Yasai Yaki, Chili Shrimp, Maki, and marinated and non-marinated Pork and Beef.

There's really a lot in Yakiniku, and I was happy that many of our food choices suit my taste preferences. I was so full. Maybe in one of my next blogs, I would share my first-time experience with Yakiniku in detail.

It was such a long day for me. I got so tired but I felt accomplished. And if there's one thing I learned this day, it's this: It's really not easy to be a fur mom, how much more being a mother to babies whom you have to shape and mold physically, emotionally, mentally, spiritually, socially, and all the other aspects therein to grow a good soul.

This is all for today I guess, thank you for your time! See you in the next one!

Coco is a gorgeous dog, however I would have taken him for a walk.
He was probably hot, I see you are in Cebu, even in cold countries dogs love their noses out of the window to get the fresh air, and I think his coat would make him hot too!
The food though looked lami!
I am not normally a fan of Japanese food but that looked delicious!
Thank you for sharing and have a stress free weekend without Coco!

Hi @tengolotodo. I think so, his coat made him more restless in the car. It was very hot that day.

Yes, the foods were lami.. It's my first time trying Japanese food, and I really like most of our food choices.

It's always fun sharing my stress-free weekends here.

See you around!
