Hello, my dear Hivers!
@itsmemic, once again.
Who else loves celebrating year-end parties?
Especially Christmas parties? Let’s dive into this exciting event I attended and share how it all came together!
Preparations for the Party
The event was organized for the working staff and teachers of Cebu Roosevelt Memorial Colleges, with a tropical vibes theme reflected in the stage design.
Despite the rain on the day of the event, the utility team worked together to set up a sturdy foundation using stainless steel poles to support the tarpaulin. This ensured that everyone had shelter in case it rained again during the program. It was a heavy task, but teamwork made it possible.
By the afternoon, the setup was complete, including chairs and tables. Although the rain left the cement wet, the tarpaulin kept the chairs and tables mostly dry—a big relief for the team!
Catering and Decorations
The organizers opted for catering to ensure a hassle-free program flow. A dedicated team was assigned to serve food, keeping everything smooth and organized.
Here’s a look at the hallway, which provided a spacious passage for attendees.
Before the desserts and fruits were added to the display, I snapped a photo of the area. I loved the fabric designs—beautifully folded—and the flower arrangements with vibrant color combinations. Small plates were also prepared ahead of time.
The Event Setup
From the second floor, you could see the designated tables for the Junior High School and Senior High School staff and teachers. Each department had their own labeled table, making it easy for everyone to find their seats.
The stage design was another highlight, featuring a Christmas tree that added festive vibes. The green backdrop perfectly captured the tropical theme.
Games and Entertainment
The program began with an entertaining game where participants had to sing without laughing—if they laughed, they were out! The emcee kicked off with a song, and participants followed suit. Some added their own twists, like changing the tune or making funny vocal effects, which had everyone laughing non-stop.
After five rounds, the emcee declared the remaining participants as winners to save time.
Photo Area
At the school entrance, there was a beautiful photo area on the left side. It featured a colorful, tropical-themed background and the name CRMC illuminated with LED lights, making it perfect for photos.
Department Presentations
Each department showcased their creativity through presentations. The costumes were stunning, and the choreography was impressive, leaving everyone in awe. You couldn’t help but say, “WOW!”
Dinner and Closing
After the presentations, dinner was served at 6 PM. It was a delightful way to end the evening, with everyone enjoying the food and company.
And that’s it for today, Hivers!

Salute to the utility team for making sure that everyone had shelter in case it will rain again during the program. Also, I super love the decorations since it's full of green (one of my fave colors is green) @itsmemic 😻
