Because you asked for it, @galenkp.
I really liked the theme of drawing my dream date. Beyond my drawing skills, I found it interesting because I don't think I've ever had a proper date.
The times I've dated, they haven't been like I've seen in the movies, and I know they may never be, but one can dream.
That's why I chose to draw my dream date. Maybe it's a bit bland, or it doesn't have adrenaline or big spaces, but I consider myself a pretty laid back person, and therefore, I like quiet environments where I can be with someone, talk and listen to each other.
In this horrible first drawing you can see two things, a small coffee shop and the fence of a park. These places are actually in my city, one in front of the other. In my dreams I would like to have a date with someone, go buy a coffee and then go to this park. To give a little more information, this is a natural park called Guaiqueri by the indigenous people of my city. It has basketball and soccer courts, long walkways, an acoustic shell, small huts and many trees. It is also next to the great Manzanares River.
Let's continue with the date. In the terrible second drawing I show you what the park would look like. I am a person that when I am nervous I usually talk too much, I talk about my hobbies, about what I love, about my family, but I also like to hear the anecdotes of my companions, I like jokes and I like to laugh a lot. On this date we would walk through the park talking maybe about music, books or about society and its taboo subjects. We would arrive at one of the huts and sit down to continue talking while drinking our coffee, and I would take some cookies out of my purse. We'd be talking for hours until it was time for us to go attend to our other responsibilities and maybe we'd meet up for another date.
This actually sounds nice to me, so I hope this dream may can true one day.
Note: @galenkp, I know you asked for just one drawing, but I had to show you the most important part of that date.
Haha, you've done it again, and what a great effort is is too! We should call you @junevalasquzangelo! The great man himself, Michelangelo, would be proud of this masterpiece!
🖼️🖍️💁🏽♀️ Thank you, thank you. I had the idea on my mind and I tried to draw it the best I could 😂😂😂.
Nice drawing.. Love the idea too.. ☺️
Thank you. I'm hoping this can become true one day. Hehehe
