Charlie's Cup : A Sip Of Relaxation

Every once in a while, it is essential to get out of your comfort zone and try to explore new places. It is the best way to relieve stress and unwind after a stressful time off of life and work.

Last weekend, me and my co-teachers went to Charlie's Cup located in Transcentral Hi-way Balamban, Sitio Inaad, Cebu City, a roadside cafe which is nestled among treetops, giving you a cool treehouse feel.

To get here, by vhire, from Ayala Center Cebu PUV Terminal, take a v-hire going to the town of Balamban, tell the driver to drop you off Charlie's Cup and the fare is ₱120.00.

By car, navigate using Waze or Google Map and search Charlie's Cup Balamban.

Since we are residing in Tuburan, we traveled from Tuburan, passed by Asturias, then the town of Balamban. It is accessible to the place where I am staying now.

This is Charlie's Cup's official logo which is located outside the cafe which makes it very easy to be known and identified. The logo is catchy and you will know you have reached the place.

The cafe is named after Charlie, the owner's beloved corgi who loved exploring the hills of Busay, Cebu City. Charlie is an epitome of love and joy which inspired the owners to create a cafe that gives such vibe to the diners.

It is my first time to visit the cafe and it was a gloomy weather when we got to the place which makes it extra special since the fogs are already visible and made the place cooler as it naturally is.

I really love to visit new places and discover what it has to offer. So far, here in Charlie's Cup, they have a wide variety of food choices and you can enjoy the 360 view of Cebu City and enjoy the cold breeze the place alongside the mountains offer.

Come meet Bogart. I was not able to meet Charlie in personal, but I met his cousin Bogart which was fully equipped of the skills in entertaining guests. Bogart is such a friendly dog and he welcomed us when we arrived at the cafe. As a dog lover, I really love to go to establishments which are pet-friendly.

Here is what Charlie's Cup looks like on the balcony area point of view. It is indeed uniquely designed and the interiors are really world class. Wait til you see the inside!

"Wow!" was the first thing I said the moment I saw the interiors of the cafe. It is made of wood and it really gives you a modern-cabin vibe. It is very exquisite and every corner is just worth to be taking a photo of.

I love that they did not harmed any trees while pursuing this establishment, it is a good thing that they paid respect to the nature and found a way to build an establishment without harming the trees within the area. I'd give a plus points for that. What a good idea indeed.

This is their alfresco dining area which is also the perfect spot if you prefer to be outside and enjoy the breeze. You will see the relaxing views of the area overlooking the city of Cebu. We did not stayed here since it was raining when we visited.

We have passed the Balamban Transcentral Highway a couple of times, especially during night time and I really notice a lot of vehicles parked outside the cafe since there are more people who visit here during night time since they get to enjoy seeing the city lights.

They have a lot of options to choose from if you want to enjoy a sip of their delicious drinks or enjoy their delightable foods. Here is the menu and the prices:

Is it worth it? Yes it is indeed. The foods tastes so good and the view is priceless. It was the perfect time I had to relax after a stressful week of work. Glad I was able to give it a try after multiple times of just passing by.

Never forget to take a pause and relax. Life is meant to be enjoyed! Ciao!
