In life, the choice we make or fail to make, mar or make us. To me, life as an adult is all about choices, you choose what you want, who you want, how you want it, when you want it and where you want it.
Among the choices I made, two was paramount... Firstly, the choice to further my education. As a young and vibrant man full of dreams, aspirations and ambitions, I had wanted living an impactful life. So to actualize my dream, I decided to further my education to acquire the necessary skills and learning.
While in school, just like many other students I fell in love, I was skeptical of success on how to handle my new found love with academics without one affecting the other. Surprisingly in my ambivalence, the lady I fell in love with, was the person who brought the best in me in all spheres.
While i was studying law, she was studying medicine, we both studied together, encouraged each other, she became the source of my motivation. After graduation I was fortunate to be employed in Nigerian prison services but now Nigerian correctional services.
Here comes the second but best choice I ever made, and it's the "one thing I will never regret in my life" Few months of my employment, I decided to choose a partner that I would spend the rest of my life with, after many consideration I couldn't have chosen a better person than my love SUZZY.
She's beautifully made with charming curve and smiles, her complexion is best to none, she's brilliant which earned her scholarship in two succession before her graduation, she's Godly, a woman that fears God is worth marrying, she's very faithful in relationship never cheated nor her body language denotes such, she cooks very well, always ready to satisfy her man's appetite and above all she's a career and independent woman who believes in herself.
Having made up my mind, I invited her on a date, therein I proposed to her and she gladly accepted, and confessed that she had waited for such a day and it indeed came to pass, she further eulogized by saying she saw a husband in me when we started, her excitement was like a dream come true and that was what it was to me also.
Two months later we both visited our parents spend weekend and familiarized with them, as our families accepted us, we fixed date for traditional marriage and later went to marriage registry for statutory marriage, to the glory of God it was successfully contracted and we have remained happy and loving couples ever after.
Indeed marrying my wife is one thing I will never regret in my life.
