Weekend Spent At Mahale Mountains National Park

Hello good members of the community, I hope your day is going well. Today marks the first day getting engaged on weekend as I read through contents of other members of the community, I would like to share my weekend experience spent at Mahale mountains national park on 26/11/ 2022 though I discovered the community when going through a guide for newbie.

Mahale mountain national park is a located Kigoma region in Tanzania.

I could tell this was the first time I went to the park as my friend was the one whom I accompanied.

I was actually scared when we were told the only way into the park was using a boat on the lake and I am one of such people who has phobia for large body of water.

But it was all fun on arrival because I met other people who also came for fun on that same day. The only animals common there were chimpanzees though we didn’t visit the animals.

I like tourism especially on weekends because you have a lot of time for fun after weekdays work. On that day I went with my friend Tomi, she is a next neigbour of the next close and I got to know her through my mum.

She worked for my mum two years ago whilst she was In Ghana. And I never knew she also came to Tanzania where I base. It was fun meeting her as we set aside this day for a visit to Mahale mountains national park.

I also met a new friend at the park, actually I don’t make friends as that but I realized this guy was kind to us.

I told you earlier I had phobia for big body of water and he was the one who kept me engaged while we crossed to the park till I myself was no longer scared of the water body.

Guess what happened at first after exhibiting fear for water, I was rejected not to join the boat drive and was advised to cross through a small bridge that links to the park as seen in the photo.

I got to smile because I knew if I really got scared with water whilst in boat, what should have triggered me make such mistake to go use the bridge?
Having known it was a trick; I smiled hard and got into the boat where we headed for the park.

The park is all fun though we didn’t really spend much time as my boss called to inform me of a general zoom meeting at a certain time. So I was hurriedly making progress so we could catch up with time. Though I will make it to the park some other time where I can spend the whole time.

In conclusion

Spending weekends at places where I could see more of nature creatures is what I love because I feel refreshed after doing so. It is also advisable if you are the working type like me, do set aside a tour for the next weekend.
