Visiting the Hostal “Viajero Tayrona” - Buritaca, Colombia.

Hello everyone! Last weekend was my birthday and to celebrate it, my friends, my boyfriend and I decided to spend it at a beach party. This party is held twice a year and is called “Selvaje”.

The party took place in one of the largest and most beautiful hostels in the area, called “Viajero Tayrona”. It is so called because very close to there is a natural park called “Tayrona”.

The place was very nice, there was a lot of vegetation, a private beach and many areas to rest and entertain.

We arrived late, about 8pm, because we were in a city that was an hour and a half away from the place. However, we arrived just in time for the party to start.

We danced a lot and took pictures in the most striking places. Here is one of mine:

At about 11pm we got really hungry and ordered some pizas at the food stand located in the same hostel. They were only open until 12am, so we were hungry and against time. These pizzas tasted great.

After that, the party continued and after 3am, more or less, they lit a bonfire to warm us all up, because although it is a warm climate, it was very cold at that time of the morning.

We gathered there until dawn, so we could watch the sunset.

We had to leave the place and the last thing we did was to walk around to explore it. We found a tree of a fruit that here in the country we call “Torombolo” and that was it.

And so was my weekend. Thanks for reading and watching.
