Hello hivers and welcome to a new week; I hope you've had a great weekend and are ready to tackle Monday and the week ahead - It's there to be owned, so you might as well make it happen!
I've had a terrible Monday so far and I wish someone would invent a time machine as I'd go back and do things differently...But no one has invented one yet...So I'll wade through it and do the best I can; What choice is there but hope for the future...And that someone invents a time machine.

This week I asked you about what inventions you thought were good, interesting, world-changing...Just inventions in general really, and you dropped your comments as always. There were some really good ones too: The pen, internet, water filtration, printing press, the automobile, Alexa, cordless drill, angle grinder...A little bit of everything - They were all good really...Most of them we'd never be able to do without.
Thanks for getting involved this week; Some of the comment threads were really interesting, some funny and I learned things along the way too. Thank you so much for participating.
This week I'm handing out some of my own hive plus that of @dandays, @tarazkp and @bigtom13. This started with just me handing out a small amount of my own but over the 38 weeks quite a few have generously donated hive to the reward pool - I appreciate it. Oh man, I missed this one, but I'll comment anyway. It just occured me that one hell of a life-saving invention has got to be the fridge. Can you imagine the amount of food that would go to waste without modern fridges? Or having to eat salty meat all-the-time. Beer is always cold. Food is fresh for longer periods. There's ice for the lemonade. Ice cream. I go with the fridge.
Refrigeration is an amazing invention and it boggles the mind to think about what life would be like without it. Agile all those cold things we take for granted, the way we'd need to plan ahead for warmer months, food prep and all. Great call on this one!

Old George Bernard Shaw was a very wise man; how often have I found myself talking only to realize the other person has not heard a single word I've said! That always stops me dead in my tracks and I simply retreat. Your closing paragraph is my exact life philosophy, love it!

I have that same problem with making sure the different contest hosts have all received the Hive and POINTS to award for their various contests. I have decided to do them all at the same time so that when they have been sent, I know they are done for the week. I notify each host in a DM that they have been sent. Done and dusted!

Communication is so overrated as a word. A lot of people want to have it, but do not put in the effort. Usually the greatest skill throughout history was the ability to speak right with people. Those who mastered the art of communication were very rewarded.

Yep, Monday sucked but Tuesday was great...Nah, it sucked too. One of those days in which I found I was so busy but never managed to achieve much. A reactive day, not proactive. It happens though. It's all good.
