This week I asked you to draw something about Christmas and create a Christmas card for the community. I'm not sure people got into it though as there were only a handful of entries. That's all good though. You can see the Week 27 topic post here and check out the entries if you like.
Thanks to those who decided to put their fears aside and join in, as I said in the topic post, it wasn't at all about drawing, just engaging.
Thanks to @dandays, @bigtom13, @meesterboom and @tarazkp who have all added some hive this week. I have personally injected a little more hive than usual this week also, so that I can offer a nice round figure to a few of you guys.

Aww thanks...I'm really not much of a photographer to be honest, I just get lucky sometimes. I purchased a macro lens for my Olympus OM-D E-M10 Mark III and have had so many failures...This was one of the better ones out of...Well, I can only count to 20 (fingers and toes) so let's just say heaps!.

I am limited to my iphone ... sometimes the photo Gods shine:)
Most of my images on hive are off my phone too, it's always with me so it makes sense. I'm happy with them. I try to use my own photos for my blog which I do almost 100% of the time so I tend not to be too fussy with it...I'm not a photographer or into editing, life's just too short for that. :)
I enjoy editing ... its like painting to me but a little bit more immediate:)
I guess I don't have the patience for it. One second snapping the shot and hours editing...Not my cup of tea.
It is meditative for me:)

All good mate, it's more about the gesture and support I guess, than the amount. You'll not get rich on it. Also, you stayed up to watch one of the most boring races of all time, like me, so I figured you needed a little magic in your life. I was up until 0130 and for what? That shit race.
ohmydays. I actually stayed awake too with nobody to keep me propped up and it was dull as dishwater. Ah well. Cheers anyway bud I've powered it up already as I'm on a mission for next year as you know and I'd like to have around 6000HP by the time I start living plan B
6K is a good target. I remember how pleased I was when I reached 5K...It was hard work. Keep pushing mate, you'll get there.
Dolphin status was a really big deal for me. It was a goal I had pursued from the start on that other place, and it was the switch that put me over the top on hive. You can do et.

My daily piece is mainly part of my routine these days and then if something occurs to me or grabs me then I'll do a bigger post. I enjoy this whole space. I've also enjoyed watching @millycf1976 get into her groove on here. Makes me smile. She will do well in the long run on here also

thats well put. She really has a knack for it and what I really love is how she approaches it from a radically different perspective to me. I like this for several reasons but one is we have a joint project looming next year and it will be so cool to cover it from very different angles

It was another fun and engaging weekend. I really enjoy the give and take that goes on here.
On an entirely non related subject: It's not quite cold enough to freeze the balls off the brass monkey, but it is cold in my house this morning. 9C outside and 18C inside. I don't have central heat so my poor little heater in the living room just can't keep up. I have the oven on long term warm up for breakfast in about hour and a half.
That is all.
Yeah, I enjoy seeing people enjoy themselves which one of the reasons I continue.
So, cold huh? It's bloody hot here, quite humid also which sucks. Might be a tough sleeping night.
I think being cold that's perfect weather for hot coffee and warmed cinnamon sugar donuts. I'm just suggesting is all. 😁
Well, I have the coffee part completely knocked. Always good coffee at my house. I'm not going out today so the donuts will have to wait a day or two. I did buy some day old sugar donuts on Saturday. I just love dunking slightly dry donuts in my coffee...
I generally like hot, but not humid. Humid just saps me...
So, you know what got me onto the donuts...I'd not long before the message completed a sugar donut topped with vanilla ice cream for dessert. The funny thing is, one never seems enough.
Humid sucks ass. We don't get a lot of it here to be honest and it's nowhere near what it's like in the tropical north of the country but it's not pleasant for me and like you say, is draining.
Humid here is bad. Humid in the center of the country is soul wrenching. 100f and 98% humidity all day every day. I got off my bike in Memphis the first time I was there and really had some stuff I wanted to do. I pulled into the Mississippi River park and 2 hours later I was back on the road looking for the nearest rain. I just couldn't function.
Humidity, like fake bacon, should be banned.
Yeah, OK. I'll speak to God about it and see what we can come up with. He'll probably remind me that in the US that humidity makes Corn and Soybeans and Wheat just grow like crazy and feeds a significant fraction of the world.
