I have so much chaos in my life, it's become normal. You become used to it. You have to just relax, calm down, take a deep breath and try to see how you can make things work rather than complain about how they're wrong.

46,200 two hundred hours of #weekend-engagement topics...that's how long 275 weeks is in hours; I'm not sure what relevance that has but it's my post so I don't give a fuck what others feel is relevant or not. Interestingly, there's only 2,649 hours hours left in 2025 depending on when you're reading this and I reckon it's best to make the most of those because who knows what might happen in 2026 huh? Happy weekend folks.

We're well into the sixth year of the weekend-engagement topic concept and it's really cool to see a few people come back every week and join in. If you'd like to get involved with the #weekend-engagement topics as hosted in the WEEKEND EXPERIENCES community then read below, and I hope you all have a great weekend.

A reminder, the tag to use is
weekend-engagement
and you'll need to follow the rules I've set out because I'm inflexible with stuff like that.

Regarding the quote, I just had an interesting conversation with a friend, or we're actually still having it as it's a back and forth if voice messages, about how badly people want the world to change (mind the passive! They don't want to change the world themselves, but the world to change), and how little they want to change themselves. It made me think about your series on laziness, with an additional entitlement. "I deserve the world to be better for me."

There's a start of human behavior to eradicate already... Thanks for hosting this, as always! Looking forward to your music again as well. Still listening a lot to Stoto, that was kind of the revelation for me. I know I already thanked you for it, but hey: Thank you for making me aware of that band!

People always want change but are rarely willing to do what's required to attain it as you early stage. Sad really, humankind have risen on the fact we're so adaptable to change...and yet we can't seem to change for the better anymore.

Stoto are bloody excellent right? Three different tracks coming tomorrow, not sure you'll like them, but I do.

Have a good weekend.

Yeah, gotta work heavy today, so I just put them on again. I'm not sure about my selection yet, either going German post-punk, keeping up with my French nostalgia, or into the Post-Core parts that I like (which are selected indeed). We'll see how I wake up tomorrow! Which I think is today for you :-D

Undoubtedly, life becomes chaotic, but it is time to take a deep breath and move forward!

What's more, I think I have become so used to chaos that when everything is calm, I feel that something is missing 🫣🫣.

OH yeah, that happens a lot...we tend to get used to a particular state of being, good or bad, and feel it when things change. Well said.

I think i have actually done a lot of things that i wished could actually take back. Although some of them taught me a great lesson.

Indeed, we all have... just that some are not honest about it.

I never got fooled by marketing 😅 but I guess I'll find a topic if time allows, quite "negative side" topics this time! Enjoy the weekend, I still have half a day awaiting me!

Have a good weekend ahead.

Every moment well lived is a moment well spent. That phrase has spoken to me at various times in my life. I'm going to plan a weekend of walking and rest; I need it.

I wish I could eradicate the zombies. Is that possible?

I love that horse's head near the door!

Have a great weekend!

So many zombies in the world. Most people.

It will be difficult, but today I will enjoy the day and the victory... Three years at Hive, tomorrow I will see what I do with the zombies... I hope you had a great day!😃

I have really spent money on things I ended up not using because I was deceived by the marketers, what they told me was the opposite and I never used them

Yeah, happens a lot I reckon.

Hey, I don't give bad pieces of advice 😏

Anyone who says that probably actually does.

I know I know. Just kidding

Ah ok, fair enough. Good joke.

That funny
@galenkp how did you know he give bad advice.

This quote from Tom Welling, which begins this post, is simply brilliant and resonates with me. Thank you for bringing it to the community.

Four interesting topics, but my position as a teacher makes me lean toward number 3.

Thank you for bringing you topics each week that make us think and, above all, bring together personal, general, and human growth elements.

Happy weekend.

Blessings and greetings.

There are many things I'd like to change, but unfortunately, you can't turn back the clock. It's time to move on, learn lessons, and improve. As for marketing, I've bought things I didn't need, and worse, they didn't live up to expectations. I fell into the trap.

Have a great weekend!

A coin flip is a good way to choose.

I'm not sure why it wouldn't let you post there; anyone can post in any community.
