Hey folks, we're on the doorstep of a new weekend and about to step through...and what a weekend it is too! I'm pretty excited because it's a three day weekend for me and that means I've got some cool things planned and will do a little more than I'd normally do over a weekend. I'm excited. This weekend also marks the time when (where I live) our clocks go forward one hour for daylight saving which occurs at 02:00 Sunday morning. More daylight with which to enjoy life! (I actually fuggen hate daylight saving.)

Wow ... you fall back soon. Where do you live. I am up in northern Alberta. Our time change doesn't happen until November 3, this year. When I lived further south, I too was not a fan of the fall time change. However, up here in the northern climes, we aren't becoming fully light until 8 am and so I think will appreciate it a lot more. The flow shot was lovely, Enjoy your long weekend.

I hope you have an awesome long weekend. My wife and I are heading up camping this weekend since we had to cancel our trip last weekend. It should be a really nice (if not chilly) trip!

About two hours away from home. A little less since we brought the trailer to work with us. That cuts about half an hour off the drive there. Still 2 hours to get home. It's a little inland lake in the northern lower peninsula.
Two hours...far enough to make you feel away and close enough to make the drive there and back easy.
Yes, it was a tad windy on the way here and traffic north was a bit heavy for this time of year, but the truck handled it well and the campground is quite empty which is nice.
I don't cope well with time changes.
In Spain we change the time on the last Sunday in October but in reverse. Fewer hours of sunshine in the afternoon. So we go into work in the evening and almost go out at night. A real nuisance.

I don't like daylight saving time but it is what it is, I have to comply or I'll be an hour late for everything. 😐

Yeah and in a big country like Australia with three different time zones and some States that don't do day light savings time...makes it difficult.
Here the timetable changes on the last Sunday of October! I don't like it either, but there will be more light for the winter, I still like the night walks.

I don't like the winter and summer time changes. I would always leave the current one. I especially don't like it when it is just changed. It gets dark very early, and the daylight time is short after work.
