RE: Going Back Home on Sunday & Reviewing Train Service

in Weekend Experiences2 years ago

I've travelled all around the world by various means and have taken railways of course also. I can't say which I've found the best, they all have different attributes, but in the images here, Bali's train system looks to be neat and tidy and very well presented.

When in Indonesia, unless you are adventurous, do not book an economy class train. Economy train seat is 3x3, meaning you will be seated with 5 other strangers facing each other without any separator in an uncomfortable seat. Upgrade yours to economy premium which costs around 5$ extra or go executive which is often priced around 15 to 35$.

Above, you describe my second worst nightmare. Lol.

Great post, thank you.

😂 I learned my lesson. Especially these days with covid, it's definitely less saver to travel with 5 other strangers facing each other. In the past, It was always awkward interaction as well.

I like keeping distance between me and others, strangers I mean. It's a lesson I learned long ago and is safer, for me (and them.) 🤣
