RE: Trip to northern Poland, where I wandered around Sopot and Gdynia

What an absolutely beautiful place to visit! The architecture is really unique and I love how most of the roads seem all old fashioned with the cobblestone. There is so much atmosphere and energy in every single photograph and the beach looks DIVINE! What is that REALLY big building at the back in the one photo of the beach? Is it a hotel?

700?! That is a crazy high number of drownings, although it is always shocking to hear how many people still drown because of alcohol. I always thought it was pretty standard knowledge that you stay away from water when you drink alcohol because of the dangers, but wow... that's a really high number!

Awesome post! It definitely looks like you made the most of your time there and nice to "meet" you @miljo76 :)

Hi @eliza.anne, thanks for your nice compliments! There was a really strong positive energy in the streets of Sopot. This large building is the Grand Hotel Sopot, shot from the rear. When I heard this high number of drownings, I had exactly the same thoughts as you. It really surprised me and I almost did not believe it myself. It was nice meeting you too, 💚 see you around!

Ok! Yes I thought it might be a hotel! Lovely to meet you too! Chat soon and have a lovely one!
