There's nothing like a change of routine to give your mind and body a break from the stress of everyday life. This weekend I decided not to work and took the day off to enjoy life a little, after all, life goes by so fast, doesn't it?

Today, my wife and I went on an adventure along the coast with no specific destination. We passed several places, first we went to a beach resort, where we had lunch of Muqueca de Aratu, which was very tasty.

The resort is an excellent place to enjoy with the family, especially if you have children. But our goal was to go to the beach, as we hadn't been to one for a long time, despite living close to the beach, about 50 minutes away by car. So, after we'd finished lunch, we set off in the direction of the beach.

Even so, we spent a few hours chatting and contemplating the place in a tent. There was a huge swimming pool, but we preferred to stay in the shade chatting while we had lunch.

It took about 15 minutes to get from the resort to the nearest beach. There we stayed at the Piratas VIP Restaurant, which has a good structure and good food. But we were more interested in enjoying the day, feeling the sand on our feet and taking a nice swim in the sea to renew our energy.

Sometimes I feel like I only live to work and fulfill obligations and responsibilities, which is why I was feeling overwhelmed these days. The day passed extremely quickly, after all, we were having fun and talking about various things.

As the sun began to set, we started organizing ourselves to return home, but with the feeling that the day was wonderful and that we need to repeat these adventures more often. Don't expect to have the time or financial means to do complex things, in reality the simple things are enough to make us happy!
