I'm not the type of person who often says "I have rights" or "I feel entitled..."
Those rights that a person should have by birth - to be free, to have a place to live, what to eat, water to drink, to be able to express themselves freely, I do not question at all.
I would be ready to fight and die for those rights.
As well as for those rights that I have acquired through my work, effort and dedication.
This is about some other rights.
The ones that individuals think they should have, because they are God-given, so how can that right be denied to them...
I was brought up not to think that anything belongs to me more than anyone else in this world.
For this reason, I am careful, thrifty and take care of the environment, which is not only mine, but that of everyone around me.
I don't think that if I have the opportunity, I should absolutely take advantage of everything right away, especially in a situation where someone else will be deprived of what I think belongs to me.
So for everything in life.
For all that is "free" and within reach of all of us... For water, for air, for food, for space, our environment, for culture, for finance... There has been a lot of talk here in recent days about HP, and also for that...
The right to just take, and that someone else might lose because of it...
No, I'm not like that. I am not God-given and in this world almost nothing revolves around me. I have the same rights as everyone else.
But...
Last night, even though I had a cold for 10 days, I went out to a cocktail bar in the city center, in the company of women, for a previously arranged meeting.
Well, even that right to stay home because of a cold, I didn't want to use (although I probably should have), because in that situation the company would be left without the desired cocktail.
We sat down at the cocktail bar and after looking at the menu, everyone chose one for themselves.
I already had an ultimatum, under which I agreed to go. Since I still have a cold, I'll just drink one...
I have already drunk a lot of cocktails from this menu, and this time I decided on Fat Boy Slim, because of the slightly lower amount of alcohol.
The girls ordered Purple Tain, Strawberry Daiquiri and Tijuana Taxi.
We sat in the garden, enjoyed a pleasant night with music, the murmur of people from the neighboring tables and a delicious cocktail.
The evening was warm, so the ice from the cocktail melted a little faster.
Just so fast that I drank my cocktail twice as fast as the girls.
Even though I agreed to the terms of the date, I still wanted to have another drink...
A mild one, with a little alcohol?
"So why do you insist?" my partner asked me.
"I feel entitled because today is my second Hive birthday, my anniversary, which I want to mark with another cocktail".
I received congratulations from the girls and permission to drink another, weaker one.
I chose Bahama Mama and as Hive birthday boy, toasted with them.
The cocktail, which I feel entitled to take 😀
Hey, happy second Hive birthday! 👏 👏 So you say Fat Boy Slim contains a lower amount of alcohol? But the first ingredient is absinthe, how that can be a lower amount or weak when it is a highly alcoholic spirit hahaha?
Thanks 😃
Pst, the girls I was with rarely drink alcohol and did not read the composition of absinthe, they think it has a strong effect (for example, Van Gogh's ear), because of some herbs (and not because of 70%).
One of them took Purple Rain and commented that it was really weak 😄
Sometimes it's nice to live in ignorance 🙂
Congratulations on your second hive birthday 🎉
Thanks 🙂
This mocktails and Cocktail looks awesome. Happy 2nd year birthday on Hive Mr Duskogbd,
This is deep, i need to learn from this quote.
Thank you dear @mikechrist 🙂
I'm glad that you found a thought in my post that you consider valuable!
I love Cocktails and Mocktails too
Happy Hiversary! Hope there are many more to come
Thanks 🙂
I hope so too.
If only we are alive and healthy 🙂
Happy second birthday on Hive!! 🎂🎉 May you have many, many more. Hope those cocktails have cured your cold ;)
Thanks 🙂
A cocktail with ice cubes can hardly help a cold, it would be better if I drank mulled wine 🙂
Sharing it with friends and for celebratory reasons cheers up the soul and that always heals all ills ;)
Happy Hive Anniversary! For the second time... :)
As I like the group/guy, maybe I should try the drink too! :)
Thanks, once again 🙂
This topic suited me, I had to brag here too 😄
You see how beautiful the colors of the cocktails are, you can try them, they are like juice 😁
I'm surprised that when you came to Serbia, you didn't pick up some customs for the famous one:"Sipaj još jednu" 😀
Hehehe... Last year I got sick badly, so this time, I was extremely cautious... Hmmm... Maybe I didn't drink any alcohol this year at all! Not sure, but I know that I was deliberately avoiding it... 😃
Rakija, we drink it to heal 🙂
I'm kidding, if you got sick from alcohol, I'm not surprised that you avoided it.
That's how I, in one period of my life (10-15 years old), bypassed vodka in a big way 🙂
