HAPPIEST TIME OF MY LIFE!

I'll share this picture with you all...my most memorable memory. I refer to it as memorable because I haven't forgotten about it unlike others...

That's me!

My cousin said I looked a lot like an Anime character but who cares? I do! I love watching Animes!!

That picture was taken on 15/05/2021. It was my birthday and the best I'd had in years.

Where I'm sitting though, hehe... I paid for that. That's why I remember. The day started like any other till I got to the office and was welcomed with water. Yep! In Nigeria, it's a ritual that you're baptized on your birthday.

My colleagues poured water on me and then proceeded to give me gifts. Eatable gifts!

I was given drinks and someone bought me food. As I was still eating that, some guy from logistics came into the store and asked for me by my name.

I confirmed I was the one he was looking for and he said okay. He left and came back with this huge box that had my eyes almost bulging out their sockets. Inside this enormous box was all the small chops you could possibly think of from puff-puff to shrimps.

Then a portion contained the most delicious chicken parts ever. Hehe.

While I was still in awe, I received another package. It was cake! Cake!! A very big cake. At the same time, my phone chimed. When I checked, it was a credit alert with the message,

Happy Birthday beautiful!

My colleagues squealed more than I did. My cousin came by my office to celebrate with me and it was just amazing.

Soon, I received more alerts with the Happy Birthday message and even data subscriptions, airtime and lingerie.

I still have no idea who sent me those.

My boss came through at 3pm and asked me to go home and enjoy the day. So with the help of my cousin, I'd taken the gifts home.

Before all the surprises, I'd already set some money aside to enjoy my day. I and my cousin already picked the place.

My cousin bought me another cake at the restaurant and we'd eaten to our fill. The food there was very affordable and finger licking good. At about 6pm, when I'd settled down at home thinking the day was over, I got a call regarding my reservation at CeeBae restaurant.

Wow!

Not just that but it was a table for two. My boss called me a few minutes later to ask if I'd been confirmed for the reservation. I thanked her profusely. I and Mom enjoyed the time alone together, bonding over food and small talks about business.

I got home satisfied. Thankful to God for those he used to bless me.
