Flawless.

I’m driven. I always have been. Perhaps it’s the result of growing up as the only competent person in a family of nutters, but when I see something to be done, no matter how difficult, I’m compelled to leap into action. No dilly-dallying. No shilly-shallying. Procrastination is not in my vocabulary. Even my school reports noted my diligence and industriousness.

I put much of my success in business down to a strong work ethic. A willingness to go the extra mile to get the job done properly, immediately puts you ahead of the rest. Apart from my sunny disposition and kindly nature, it’s one of the things I’m most proud of.

In years gone by, I acquired quite a reputation in legal circles, not only for tracing property titles considered irretrievably lost, but for working days, nights, Sundays and Holy Days.

I’m retired now, but my dedication to getting things done hasn’t diminished. I run our little compound like a military operation, with no slacking tolerated. Even our four hounds are under voice command. I need no leashes on my pooches when we wander abroad. One word from me and it’s off the roadway onto the grass verge, immediately and without hesitation. You’d be amazed how many times drivers have stopped to compliment me on how obedient they are.

I reckon that 68.75 per cent of the time I am the best version of myself. The rest of the time I’m asleep. I sail through life at 68 knots, a smile on my lips and a song in my heart, sweeping aside whatever obstacles lie in my path as I navigate the turbulent waters, leaving sunshine in my wake—I do like an extended metaphor.

My many good friends, all three of them, would undoubtedly agree with my assessment that I am one of the sweetest, most self-effacing people you could meet.

I could, of course, regale you with tales of my kindness and good deeds, but my convent education taught me the value of humility. Self-praise is no praise, my mother used to say...though she never said anything about accurate observation.

prompt asking: Do you have a strong work ethic or do you find yourself procrastinating and seeking to avoid working? ? and
What percentage of the time are you your best version - explain what that looks like - and when you are not, why not?

The images are my own.

I'm referred to around these parts as The Mother ship:) I have absolute control without the need to raise my voice.

I'm shocked, shocked I must say. First, that you don't procrastinate, I would never had thought that of you, ever. But sarcasm aside - you're not your best self when you sleep? How is that even possible? I'm very sure you're just being modest, because your mom told you to be.

I'm definitely not my best self when I sleep. Me rollers are in, me hairnet on and me gnashers in a cup on the bedside table:)

😄 Love it, pure deirdyweirdy, Lol.

Pure as the driven snow m'dear.

What a powerful testament to the magic of discipline and diligence🔥You're living proof that consistency creates freedom and joy in retirement. Absolutely legendary🏆

Oh I know! Every day in every way I'm getting better and better:)

68.75% sounds pretty impressive to me,consistency matters more than perfection

😊
