One good turn deserves another

I had a wonderful weekend, especially on Saturday after attending a friend's and baby girls wedding. I captioned this write-up one good turn deserves another, I will tell you why.

September 22nd 2018 was my wedding day and my friend syntyche Igwe was among my bridal train. She really availed herself that day and added to the joy and happiness of the day, my day. Few weeks ago, I was informed about my friends wedding party, I was so excited I couldn't hold my joy. The wedding was going to be on 25th January 2025 being yesterday, I was definitely not going to miss out on this ceremony.

So yesterday I did all I was supposed to do and boarded a tricycle straight to Abayi Development Civic Hall. Arriving at the place, I saw a portrait of my baby girl and the love of her life placed on the wall outside the hall; I took a shot of it and went upstairs.

At the reception room were a lot of beautiful and happy faces. I met a lot of old time friends that I have not seen for a very long time. Truthfully gatherings like this one brings about happy reunions and exciting moments. After a while, the man on the microphone announced the arrival of the newest couples. "Wow! that's my baby girl coming" I screamed to myself. Behold here they arrive, dancing to the rhythm of the song. I ran to embrace her and she was more than happy to see me; according to her, she didn't know I will be coming.

Why won't I come? this was what she did for me on my day in fact she even did more. This is me returning the Favour and saying a big congratulations to my friend and baby girl. I wish her all the good things marriage has to offer.

We were served with a plate of jellof rice and fried rice dished together with chicken and a can of beer. I was too quick to enjoy my food that I forgot to take a picture of the food. Here are some lovely pictures I took at the ceremony 👇
