Just this Friday, I decided to travel toy town for the burial arrangements of my father who died on the 18th of August. I was unable to celebrate my birthday with you my family here just because of the incident, because he died two days to my birthday. This was pathetic, isn't it? This is just God doings. It happens just because of God. God's giveth and also taketh. So, no one can question God for the death of my father.

Now let's come back to business:

This Friday, I entered road to my home town. The journey was so nice as we proceeded as early as possible, so that we can arrive on time.

We proceeded with the journey. Although, my friend decided to go with me and he was the one who drove me down to my town.

The road was free but not busy only for the heavy vehicles which happens to take over thee road.

Trucks on the road trying to overtake one another depriving the cars to accelerate faster.

It was a great journey and I truly enjoyed the journey. We passed through many villages and many towns. We crossed many bridges, because it was a very far distance.

This is a Palm Motel we passed through while coming which is located in a renowned town. It was so great it is for lodging and for also for relaxation. This place is just too much when I saw it. I have been seeing it anytime I'm passing through it, but never new it to be as beautiful as this. I only got to know while taking the pictures.
It's a beautiful place and a place to be.

This is a bridge we got to. This bridge is a bridge before we got to another town called sapele. This town is in Delta State and a very popular one. This bridge is a long one and beautiful. I did not take the photo in full.

This statue is in the junction to my town. My town is like a stone throw from here.

I'm home, but will relax a bit before going for meeting to arrange for the burial. This was what I did before going to the meeting to see my family.

Thank you for the journey with me to my home town.

So sorry to hear about this loss, perhaps it's the most painful moment to say goodbye to your loved ones. May Almighty grant him a higher place in Heaven. Ameen.
So wondering about the statue, is it symbolic or what's the history behind it.
Rainy day but gloomy for you.
