I'm glad you enjoyed it and, yes, I am one of the few people in western Romania who had the opportunity to meet the last six war veterans alive and I think I am the only person in western Romania who attended the funeral of the last war veteran, it's a bit painful to talk about it.
Why do I say that I am the only person who attended the funeral of the last war veteran, because that veteran was from Ploiești County, which is about 500 kilometers from the county where the heroes' monument is located, and honestly I looked through the crowd to see if I knew anyone from us or from the officials, I didn't see anyone.

What an honor to met such men. There are so few WWII veterans left now.
None of the veterans who fought here in the Western Plain of Romania are alive, very sad.
