Sunshine and smiles, Hivers! It's been a while since I posted my last blog post. In this blog, I'm excited to share to you all how my friends and I are working on our final project for our first-semester finals. Let’s dive in!
This week has been quite challenging as it marked both our finals and the final week of the semester. We worked to meet various deadlines for school assignments and activities that required completion. Recently, Apreal, Fhaneza, and I decided to go to the Shell shop, as we thought it would be a good place to work on our final project for operations management and strategic management in the shop.
Before heading there, we had our final exam in our foreign language class (Korean), and here are the notes I need to study and memorize. To be honest, this subject can be challenging if you're a slow learner. I really enjoy studying and learning how to speak the Korean language.
After finishing our final exam, we headed to the shell shop. We took a jeepney for 15 minutes before stopping at the gas station. This shop is conveniently connected to the shell gas station.
One of the great features of this place is that it offers both indoor and outdoor seating; in the outdoor area, you can unwind and enjoy watching the waves of the sea. Inside, the cozy atmosphere really enhances the experience. Upon entering this café, the rich aroma of freshly brewed coffee envelops the space. A handful of customers are either enjoying their meals while working or simply unwinding.
The interior decor of the shop is incredibly aesthetic. The wall designs and the layout of the tables and chairs create an ideal environment for students and millennials in search of a place to eat and relax.
We ordered a frappe for and coffee for Apreal, while Fhaneza hasn't placed her order yet as she wasn't feeling well.
The design of their counter is quite appealing and gives a café-like atmosphere. In addition to drinks, they offer pastries, some grocery items, and a selection of Korean food.
Regarding the prices, their dry goods and other items are less expensive compared to other convenience stores. However, their drinks are quite expensive, and I found the taste and quality didn't matched what you pay for, as they weren't particularly flavorful or delightful to me. If you prefer beverages that aren't overly sweet, you might not enjoy the drinks at Shell Shop.
They also have a section filled with various cooking and baking items. These items are really adorable and aesthetically pleasing. This corner truly stands out in the store, as many customers are drawn to it for taking pictures.
One thing I don't like about this shop is that they offer internet access, but unfortunately, they don't provide it to customers despite us purchasing their products. It seems they only give the password to those who aren't students, as I noticed that some people here are working inside of the shop, even though the internet connection in this place is so slow.
We remain focused on our final project since it is due tomorrow, and we are still at the beginning stages of it. We spent 2 hours working on the project before deciding to take a break and grab some food. We choose for cup noodles because we were feeling cold and craving a hot soup.
We took some photos inside the cafe to help our minds relax and take a momentary break from the stress of working on the final project.
During this time, many customers were enjoying their foods both indoors and outdoors, as it was 4 PM in the afternoon.
Meet Apreal; she brought along a large pencil that she received as a Christmas gift. She likes bringing nonsense things. Apreal has a fondness for cute items, even though it is useless or nonsense.
Afterwards, we continued to work on our final projects until 5 PM. We weren't able to complete the projects since it was already 5 PM and we needed to head home to take care of some personal errands.
And this is the end of my blog, hivers! I hope we can finish all our schoolwork this week and I wish we got the grades that we deserve. Thank you for reading my blog, hivers! Ciao!
What a great place to study.💗✨
Absolutely 💯
I've been there before, that place was really nice.
Yes you're right! This is a perfect place to study and enjoy with friends
It's so happy to see students are working together fo their projects 🙂
Thank you 😍
I like a place like this for studying 🙂
You should check it out!
making projects are so draining, thank goodness y'all decided to make it at shell shop with delicious pastries and drinks
Yes you're right, we've been so stressed lately because of this. We decided to do this to the other places to refresh our minds
What a perfect place to study @chrmshly, but what really catches my attention is the large pencil, I remember I cried when I was a kid because my mother would not brought me one (large pencil is very common before and most of my classmates before had large pencils) 😹💗
That big pencil is not the pencil we used to use in school 😭; even preschool children cannot write using that because it is literally big. I also had a big pencil, same as yours, so nostalgic.
I've heard a lot of great things about this shop, and I think they've done an amazing job keeping the place beautiful and cozy, especially considering it's a gasoline station brand. From the outside, you wouldn't expect to find such a warm and inviting space inside!
Yeah, that's true. That was my first time visiting that shop. At first I really thought this was just an ordinary shop, but when I entered, it was far away from my expectations, haha.
The Shell Shop sounds like such a cozy spot for both studying and relaxing. 💓
Yes, you're right! If you're near at that place, maybe you can try visit
The outdoor seating by the sea seems like the perfect place to relax! 🌊☀️
