Making mistakes means I'm still in the game. When I started water skiing my mentor said "If you aren't falling, you aren't trying."
Damn straight. God knows the amount of waste in my life before I learned that I could at least stop and maybe even back up to give things time to sort out. I'm sure most of them would fit into the previously mentioned 'mistake' category.
There's still a lot to be learned and get good at those things.
It isn't an easy thing to understand. But seems you're on the right path with it not.
I'm sure they do as now you understand that not paying attention to them is a better option.
