Cleaning time: Inside and outside the house

December 31, 2023, when hubby decided to clean up the surroundings of our house. He rented a grasscutter from our barangay so it would be easier for him to clean up. He started cleaning the surroundings early in the morning. He intended to start earlier so he could be done clean before noon time. Since renting the grasscutter for the whole day is way expensive. While hubby is busy cleaning outside, I also take the chance to clean inside the house, especially the walls and ceiling. Cobwebs and dust are everywhere especially our wall part since it's not made of concrete. I must use a walis tingting(a broom made of coconut leaves). It helps me clean the wall easier. I had to find a durable, longer stick that I could use to make cleaning stuff for our ceiling since I couldn't reach it using a regular broom. Luckily I found a Gimilina branch near our house. After making my cleaning stuff for our ceiling I started getting all the cobwebs on our ceiling. I didn't get the chance to capture what I was doing since I was so focused on finishing cleaning.

After cleaning the inside part of the house I have to clean up the grass that has been cut outside. I was worried it might rain and it would make the grass heavier and harder to sweep that's why I cleaned it right away.

The sun was so hot yet I had to finish cleaning it before it rains. When I was almost done sweeping it already started to have raindrops luckily it didn't continue to rain heavily.

My sister-in-law visited our house and played with my son. Since she's already working she seldom goes home as she lives in the city where she works.

I told my daughter to finish sweeping outside as I had to rearrange the LED lights that I put up inside our house. After rearranging the LED lights I had to pause and let my son sleep as it was already around 2 pm. I was supposed to sleep too yet I felt so hot and I couldn't sleep since I still didn't take a bath so I had to get up when my son already fell asleep.

My day ended up eating snacks after I took a bath.

I guess that's all for my weekend experience last Sunday. A busy and productive day for me and the rest of the members of the family.
