Lol, it's addressed to everyone and no one in particular. I see it happen and wonder if people realise I know why they do it. Of course, people can do as they please, but I'm unlikely to reward a post that's supposed to be 400 words responding to a topic when 370 of them waffle on about unrelated things.

You always well exceed the word count so it's not an issue.
Oh, well. I always try to keep the body of the post out of the count from the info at the bottom and the introduction.
Yep, and I see that. It's those that put a 90 word answer to my topics and 350 words of waffle that I'm targeting.
