Saturday was always going to be nice, a mix of good food and friends and an afternoon of chatting.
There's four of us who meet once a month at the same place and time and enjoy each other's company. We're all a little different but it's our differences that keep us so engaged. We have commonalities, all our partners know each other which is how we met, but mostly there's enough differences to always have something to talk about and find interesting and, of course, enough similarities. It's a lot of fun and I always look forward to it.
We leave the men home, they often do manly things together at other times so we don't feel guilty and we have times when we're all together anyway, this lunch is just for the girls.
I had a really nice time, we spent much of the lunch talking about our houses and home decor as one of the girls is renovating and decorating her house, this is something all of us have in common, home decor, and I think our discussions solved all her issues, although I'm not sure her budget will match. It was fun. We spoke about the guys a little bit but I rarely open up as much as the others, they seem happy to tell all and I'm not that way inclined.
Lunch, coffee and cake, and more coffee...it was another good gathering and I'm looking forward to the next.

We chat generally so it's more a discussion than advice I suppose, I don't like advising people about what to do in their own homes as it's likely not to be what they may like. In this case though, we had a really nice chat about home decor and what we liked and disliked generally.
The wine is a good way to relax, but making decisions after a glass of wine too many is ill-advised, don't you think? 🙃

The question is how experienced is the one giving advice. But any opinion and advice, especially from someone who has almost had a similar activity, can be worth it...
A couple of times I gave suggestions for arrangement (not paid advice, but friendly), some of my friends accepted them, some did not.
One said to me, I was wrong to not listen to you.
So far, no one has told me that it was a mistake to listen to me 🙂
For wine, I meant relaxation after the decision was made, not at the moment of decision, that can really be counterproductive 😀
You are different that makes your man fall in for you head over heels 🥰👍. Girly lunch is always about chit chat sharing and caring, it's good to leave the Mans behind as they could not fit in their topic. I have been once and get completelly bored.😄😄

I'm so glad you had that get-together with your friends and that you have it once a month and have a great time! The differences are interesting and provide topics of conversation. It happens a lot with my friends too.
I meet up with my friend here every fortnight, once she chooses the place and once I do. It's a lot of fun!

Spending Saturday with friends over food and long chats sounds like a tradition worth keeping. Meeting every month keeps everyone connected, and sharing ideas about home décor makes it even more enjoyable.
