Romantic home date night

I'm doing a romantic dinner later tonight, just me and my lovely man.

He's been away a lot lately, it's the nature of the work he does, and I'm so proud of him for the way he puts in so much effort but I miss him when he's gone. When he's back we usually make a point to do something special to reconnect but we've not been able to do that in the last week so I'm making dinner and creating a romantic date night at home - I'm really hoping what I cook turns out ok.

I've banished him from the house for the day, he went out with a friend to do some manly things - he's such a boy, something I love about him - and is under strict instructions not to come back until later. I'll send him off for a shower and to change and while he's doing that I'll finish off the little touches and the evening will begin.

As you can imagine, this isn't the place to talk about it in full but I thought I'd share some of the music I've got ready for the evening. We always have music playing and I've arranged a play list of background music that will be on softly enough that we can speak over it but still hear it. I'm really looking forward to the evening but am a bit nervous my cooking won't work out.
