We went nowhere, the exact place we needed to go at that point in time and a place where we find lovely moments of rest and relaxation.
When I mean we went nowhere, I mean we went somewhere secluded and private; nowhere was somewhere, but it felt like nowhere because there was nothing around once we got there, no people and just nature; there wasn't much around the place on the way to nowhere either to be quite honest, and that's what we wanted.
We were off for a camping trip, a long weekend at a secluded spot beside a creek where we'd camped many times before; it's on private property, a huge farm set amongst rolling hills, and while it looks barren in the image and video once we got down to the creek it there's trees and huge boulders and a slow moving deep section of the creek where I like to swim when its warm. We had a campfire and slept under the stars and it was so beautiful.
I'm was thinking of doing a post on the spot but as I was looking for photos I came across some video which was taken by a GoPro mounted to the roof cargo-platform of the 4x4. I really miss that 4x4, we don't have the vehicle anymore but gosh we had some fun with it, so many fun times that ended up with us getting bogged.
In the video you will see another vehicle which we happened across on the way up. At the top of the climb we stopped for a chat which is just polite, it was the property owner's son, and then we were off again heading down to the spot. We didn't see another soul for four days and had a really nice time. I'll do a post on the spot itself sometime.
Please excuse the background noise in the video, it was quite a windy day which picked up in the microphone and the mount itself was rattling which we didn't know until after; I put some music on it to try and hide it...ok, I didn't do that, my guy did it for me.
What a nice place away from it all, a beautiful trip, and imagine that lake, a place nowhere in particular but with a lot of peace and relaxation. I loved the video makes it very graphic, no matter the noise, it's reality, I love it!
Thanks Becca for sharing it!💗
It certainly is a nice spot and we try to get there maybe twice a year if possible, it's not close to home though so takes some planning.

no road ahead is actually a place to be to find many alternative meaningful way. with the kind of description you shared, i wanted to be in that place....spending some lonely times is always helps in many way. awesome place....but youtube? r u in there as well ?
Places like this help me to feel more connected to myself and more settled because there's nothing but nature, me and my man out there. It's so lovely and we try to get to places like this as often as possible. Are you able to escape in this way sometimes?
As for youtube, I created the account specifically to put this video on there, other than that I only go on youtube listen to and watch music videos from time to time, I'm not the sort of person to like sitting at a computer much at all.

What a relaxing place, it is really secluded no. With a beautiful music accompanied on that trip, it'll be more special for sure.
It sure although it's not the easiest to get to because a 4x4 is required to get up and over the hills and then the descent is very steep and rough leading down to the creek and camping place. It's lovely though. We are so fortunate to have permission from the owner to use it.

The ride there, in the open air, no concrete around, must have gave you a good feeling as well. It sounds like a wonderful getaway. The spot you described is the kind you would see in a painting I bet.
It's the buildings, cars, buses, people and such things in the concrete jungle we aim to avoid and this place is devoid of such things. It's a lovely place and so secluded, peaceful and calming which is important to both of us.
