Two weeks ahead, I was invited to watch our friend's performance at SM City Mall. She and her group will be joining a K-pop Dance inspired contest. As her supportive friend, we have cleared our schedule to solely dedicate our time to watch her upcoming performance. And then, the most awaited day came. Our group showed for her except for Blip-blop who went home on weekends and Persss who have other commitments for our school publication. At least, Breee, Joshua, and me showed up to give our full support and to boost her courage more.
Fria is fond of dancing and had experienced joining lots of contests already. Yet sometimes, she was still nervous and shy, and that's fine. It happens at times and that's quite normal. Even if I had conducted some lectures and reporting myself, I still feel nervous everytime I face the crowd.
We came there earlier than 3pm and the show wasn't starting yet. At this time, I was craving ice cream but of course, I would still like to have coffee after. I went to food court with my Patata to refreshed ourselves from the scorching heat of the sun outside while we traveled, and also, to kill time while the show wasn't rolling.
Speaking of a perfect timing, I've found something right to satisfy my cravings. This Coffee Float right there. Why eat ice cream and drink coffee separately when you can do both anyway? This is new to my tastebuds, by the way. As you all know me, I'm a hard core fan of Black Coffee. I do drink latte on some occasion but not often. It hits different when it's your cravings on a once in a month phenomenon. You know what day that is. 😉
After a while, I've been reunited with Bree and Fria together with some friends and family. We're here to watch her slay like a queen on the dance floor.
We're confident that she'll give her best even if she is nervous and intimidated by other contestants. And there, as their music started playing, she's on fire! Damn, if I only have such talent, I'll be proudly presenting it to the crowd. But anyway, her group nailed it and she's a natural dancer. To be honest, her group was one of those who gave out the best performances that afternoon. We're so proud just by watching her from the crowd. If only I could shout, "That's our friend. SHE SLAYYY!!!" That should be I was saying but instead I was happily telling people which I'm acquainted to.
A young solo performer entertained the audience thereafter. Since our business was done after seeing Fria's extraordinary performance, we left the venue. We strolled around the mall checking the items that interests us. SM was on SALE! But anyway, we still couldn't afford it and even if we can, it's not a necessity anyway so we just did a window shopping.
Usually, they would give markdown prices on midyear, then will do it again around —ber months, especially on October and December.
Our stroll before dinner time reached the Department Store, the toys and shoes section. I'm glad to see a lot of toy trucks and Dinosaurs there at an affordable price. My kid will surely love those things, and will add those in her collections at home. Anyway, the strolling stopped when we were both hungry. It's time to feast on a sumptuous meal. We got to make sure that we could satisfy our tummies before hoing home, so we went for Ribshack to have unlimited rice.
To wrap it up, it ended with food and some skin care products after. More important thing than clothing is a healthy and glowing face and body, it's what we should prioritize to take care about. Of course, a little fun wouldn't hurt sometimes. It's nice to go out once in a while.
