Good morning to all. I want to share with you how my Sunday was, which was really competitive in the city of El Tigre. The 3rd Edition of the Cardio Run Competition was held, an event promoted every year by the Policlínica del Sur where runners from all over the country participate, and of course, the running clubs of our city also participate. The event had a great group of sponsors, and it was very well organized. For the runners, 10 km were assigned and for the walkers it would be 5 km, I participated in this group, you can not imagine how good I felt participating in this event.
We arrived very early, practically dawn, because the access roads would be closed at 6 am and we had to find a good place to park. They were still finishing locating everything. Little by little the participants and the public began to arrive. Before starting the race and the walk they did warm-up sets, and at 7 am the runners left, the walkers left 15 minutes after them.
The weather at that time was delicious, the walk was strong in the last two kilometers but seeing people on the sidewalks cheering and clapping is an incredible stimulus. I really recommend that you participate in these events, I can tell you that it is very healthy and I assure you that my blood pressure has remained stable in the days following the walk. As we got closer to the finish, the runners were already coming back, it was exciting to see them go by and shout everyone giving us encouragement. My daughter participated in the Category 20 – 29 Free, and although this time she was not among the winners, her time was one of the best in the competition. She is my eternal champion.
When we arrived at the arrival point, which was the same as the starting point, they were waiting for us with drinks, fruit, our medals for participating, and a day of dance therapy, that was really good. To close the event, it was time for the award ceremony, and the clubs were very anxious to know the results. The prizes of the different categories were among participants from clubs from other cities, others from El Tigre, and some independent runners. Puerto Ordaz was the city that won the most prizes in this competition. Well deserved all the awards because they made an excellent demonstration of preparation and perseverance. And in this way the event came to an end, leaving everyone with good memories and the hope that it would be repeated.
Hi there, I've changed the community rules today, please post only in English in this community, no multi-lingual posts.
Hello, thank you very much for letting me know.
This is how it will be from now on.
Good night!
I appreciate you understanding and accepting the changes Anna. 😊
A pleasure friend. 😊
I'm going to review the changes again so I can make my post for the weekend. Happy day!
I can see you're a woman of quality as you have handled my suggestions well and with class. Thank you. You haven't edited this post and removed the Spanish though, which means I'll have to mute it. I'll check back in a few hours to see if you've edited it.
Sorry, I thought I should only leave new posts in English. I did not know that this should also be modified. Already did.
Thank you, you're a lovely person for being so understanding.
¡Excelente! que hayas tenido un domingo diferente, al aire libre y haciendo ejercicios por tu salud. Me alegra bastante, bellas fotos amiga. ¡Lluvia de bendiciones sigan cayendo para ti!
Me hizo mucho bien amiga, ejercitar al aire libre y a esa hora es más sano que cualquier cosa.
Muchas gracias, amén.
Bendecido inicio de la semana santa.
