I love the way music can describe my feelings or being a distraction in my sorrow. And in my move on phase, I have a lot of music to relax my mind.

During my heartbreak a few years ago, I heard a song that really took my breath away with its lyrics. This song is titled “Done” which is sung by Kun Saraswati, an Indonesian singer that I just met in 2020. I didn't know the song was that booming and I just found it while playing the Discovery Weekly playlist on Spotify randomly.

So, since this week's theme is about music, I chose the first point to tell you guys.

Tell us about a piece of music or song you love, that moves you, and makes you feel deeply. Share the link to the music if you like.

This song is really very emotional and describes about letting go or the stage of grieving. When the times of heartbreak I really need it. This song is a release enough to learn to forgive and let go of someone who was present in my life at that time.

take me with you or let me be with you
but if we knew, i’m trynna forget you
what did I do? i’m feeling so pale blue

this felt is true, but how about you?

the sky starts raining, but my heart keeps tracing
the storms are raging, but my heart keeps falling

In the first stanza, Kun Saraswati describes the process of denial and anger that is usually felt by people who have just lost. Completely did not believe that what he was going through was over.

I’m broken in two, I’m drowning in deep blue.
My feelings for you, has drowned with me too.

The second stanza above represents depression. The phase that shows self-deprecation for a loss. Often it makes us feel miserable and be dragged along and drowned in sadness.

What I’m gonna do? Tell me, what I’m gonna do?

After feeling lost, usually will continue to enter a phase of confusion. Are the steps taken are correct or what should be done after this?

But if we knew, I’m done with you!

Finally, "Done" as the title track really brings us to a finished word. Finished with a loss. Done with a situation that makes us down. Done with the acceptance phase.

There are many songs that have helped me recover from the loss process, but this song really got me done with it. I hope you can also enjoy this song and heal your wounds.

Music can always bring so much influence especially when people go through things related to that. Like going through your heartbreak and you may wanted to work things out but then figure who you thought was the one for you is just not. I'm sure someone who'll treat you right and have someone to talk to is always the one to appreciate 😊

Yup, in my heartbreak phase I made a playlist just for relieve my stress about it. And this one make me can let him go. Thank you for stopping by. Hope you like this song too 😊

It's no problem. It's good 👍 thanks for posting 💓 hopefully you'll find the right love for you

Grief is a tough one, and music can help us get through this. I am glad you shared it. I thought of my father-in-law as I listened to it. He recently has passed, and I do miss him. Isn't grief a strange animal the way that it bites us, shakes us, and moves us also. Music can help guide through it.

I'm sorry for your father-in-law :( Music can be everything for our live, can't it?

Never heard about her but thank you for sharing, I will definitely look for her masterpiece on Spotify.

Go listen it!
