Thank you :) I have never had issues with HOT tyres :) I am from the UK and now live in Russia, so I mainly deal with a Cold environment. When I don’t use my tyres I store them away in a cool, dark, dry place to help keep them fresher for longer. My tyres on my car are almost at 10 years old, so I will need to change them soon, even thou they are in great shape with loads of tread.
My cars only done 25k one over a space of 9 years and that milage is spread over two sets of tyres. I think if your not using the trailer for a long time, it maybe worth taking the weight off the tyres buy putting it up on stands, to avoid flat sports. I look forward to seeing more posts :)

When tyres deflate and are running fast on the road they heat up due to the additional friction created by the extra surface contact. When they get hot enough they shred. That's what I meant by hot tyres and that's what happened to the one that shredded on my camper trailer.
