RE: Freshly tyred

in Planetauto4 years ago

Tyre looks wrecked, side wall collapse from rock on possibly, rugged terrain driving poses some strange results going off road camping.

Sure you made the right decision for now you can plan the next round, don't let them stand around doing nothing, tyres age quicker when not in use if I am correct in saying...

Yep, the general consensus is about 5-6 years of life span for tyres regardless of wear or milage. Mine will get changed next year, the other two running tyres I mean.

What we need are super tyres combating thorns, rocks and mayhem, perhaps early solid rubber tyre, no inflation needed would do the trick! Super hard ride 😄

Lol...Solid rubber wheels would knock my fillings out I think!

Sure would be bumpy ride, but imagine no punctures only broken rims/bum....

Have you seen this? Could be a good way to go.

Wow that is interesting, possibly rubber could be recycled into forming these...

Airless tyres could be a great way to go eventually..., still don't like idea of diverless cars 🙃

I'm with you on the driverless cars for sure, but it's going that way. Hmm, maybe human beings could also develop robots to enjoy other pleasurable things on their behalf. You know, get robots to eat our garlic bread and pizza, drink our coffee and so on...Think of all the time humans would save.
