Hello lovely people of HIVE community. Hopefully you will be enjoying your life with good health and spirit. Crypto has gained huge popularity during 2021 and popularity of crypto is rising in 2022 despite big dip in market. Companies are thinking to adopt crypto currency as payment.
Now Uber CEO Dara Khosrowshahi disclosed that company will accept crypto currency as a payment. While interviewing with Blomberg Dara Khosrowshahi said that company is not in hurry of accepting crypto payment but it is on card for future.
One of the big issue of adopting crypto currency as a payment is the environmental impact due to crypto mining. Crypto mining is energy extensive operation and it is damaging the environment. Efforts are being made to convert mining in to clean and green energy.
Conversion of mining in to clean and green energy will definitely break the adoptability barrier and companies love to adopt it as a payment. What is your opinion? Do you believe that environmental is a big hurdle in adopting crypto payments? I would love to read your comments in comment section.
