Conclusion
I decided to put the conclusion at the top. The swap on leodex.io appears to be misbehaving. It is probably better to use the swap on hive-engine at the moment.
Personally, I think @leodex should turn off the swap until it is fixed. It would also be nice if someone on the #leofinance team wrote about the problem using the tag #leodex. A semi-official post could tell us the status of the swap.
If @leofinance doesn't provide updates, then clueless outsiders like me start writing posts.
Now for My Clueless Post
It appears that @leodex has a liquidity problem and that people who use the deposit and withdraw feature on leodex wallet aren't receiving their funds.
This problem has gone on for about a week. I tried to deposit 10 HIVE into #hive-engine three days ago. The deposit created a transfer transaction to @leodex. @leodex is an automated swap program. There was supposed to be a matching transaction on #hive-engine that never appeared.
It appears that the swap account @leodex is having a liquidity problem.
@leodex 's HIVE wallet shows that the account had only 53 HIVE when I started writing this post.
@leodex 's HIVE-Engine Wallet shows 5,751 SWAP HIVE.
@leodex is a swap program. There should be a matching HIVE-Engine transaction for each HIVE transaction.

The HE explorer on dtools shows funds sent to the explorer.
It appears that there are more people withdrawing funds from HE than depositing funds at the moment. Such imbalances can create problems with underfunded swap programs.
The #leodex problem might be a result of the liquidity problem.
I don't know.
Maybe there are more serious problems with LeoDex at the moment.
Personally, I would avoid using the leodex swap at the moment.
Honey-Swap
The swap program on HIVE-Engine uses the @honey-swap account.
The peakd walle for @honey-swap shows that it contained 4,299,889 free HIVE and 1,677,793 vested HIVE.
Wow, I would love for @honey-swap to upvote my post!!!! It probably doesn't vote.
The honey-swap HE account wallet shows that it holds 9,007,199,249,269,102 SWAP.HIVE.
The account has 9 quintillion SWAP.HIVE.
dang.
It is obvious that the HE team used this account to mint the SWAP.HIVE. The SWAP.HIVE coins held by @honey-swap is meaningless. It represents funds sent to Hive-Engine.
People Should Avoid Using the LeoDex swap.
I was hoping that someone at LeoDex would read the post and realize that their swap was misbehaving.
IMHO, LeoDex should disable its "deposit" and "withdraw" buttons until they fix the swap.
Since #leodex lacks liquidity on the HIVE side they probably should refund all of the transactions on the HE side.
They might simply complete the few transactions where people sent HIVE to HE.
It looks like this misbehaving bot created a mess of things.
I don't know what people who lost money in the swap should do.
One of the problems of the blockchain is that the transactions really don't have a legal status. @leodex does not have a legal duty to complete the transactions.
People can see the transactions with the blockchain explorers.
It appears that some people have connections and that @leodex manually completed their transactions.
I don't have insider connections.
I decided to write a second post simply to encourage people to look at the blockchain explorer.

HIVE is supposed to be a communication platform.
For some unknown reason developers and administrators use discord for important communications about the platform.
They should be using HIVE as their primary communication tool. They could have handled the problem with a single post and comments.
#leodex did not refund the funds for people who communicated with them on HIVE. They did refund the people who used the correct discord server.
This design meant that the insiders got their money back. Outsiders, like me, simply lost their funds.
