I use both. I use Ecency to interact with the Hive blockchain. This includes building the Hive Dollar (HBD) savings, and building the Hive Power too. Nowadays Ecency is my favorite Hive blockchain application.

Unfortunately scams can often happen on the internet. For example four years ago (in 2018) @magicdice was a scam on the Steem blockchain. The Hive blockchain was forked from the Steem blockchain in 2020. This is why the Magic Dice account is visible on the Hive blockchain too.
