First it has to beat the icredible high amount of transaction fees. Nowadays Bitcoin is rather a store of value (like the gold or the silver), than a currency.

I agree, and aimed to touch on similar issues in the post, but "Bitcoin Will Beat Gold" just didn't have the same ring to it. :) 🙏
