High rate of unemployment may be an advantage to industries as they will never run out of labour, but is a major disadvantage to the economy and to both the employed and the unemployed individual. People will get laid off work for zero reasons because there will always be people available to take over the vacant spot within the twinkle of an eye. Workers will have no choice but adapt to harsh work conditions regardless of how inconvenient out of fear of not losing their job.
