I have heard years ago by the time you read something on the internet about something being built or created you can be certain that thing has already been created and is working in the world. So the metaverse I believe is already a function of this reality and more than likely has been for a while. Just my opinion.

The metaverse is nothing more than virtual worlds - of which there are a ton.
It's going to be exciting to see how they continue to be expanded on and then how people are able to seamlessly move between them.
This is going to be the key.
