wwe is cracking down on how their branding is being viewed,

HBK, paige, mandy rose, and now logan paul have mentioned or implied doing lude activities with the championship belts.... was that a regular thing back in the day?

he was being HEAVILY baby sat by HHH during those days. the implied nude image of him in the belt was the least of their worries & as you mentioned worked in favor of his gimmick as well as the tone of WWF/WWE back then.
