The recent drop in the price of Ethereum and the difficulty some people had adding Ethereum to their MakerDao accounts to prevent liquidation points out the weakness of the Ethereum blockchain, scaling up to meet increased transactional volume. The Steem blockchain could handle this surge due to our design.
