Is coffee a food? lol

Lol. You know why you laughed right?

Coffee is not a food, it is under the category of beverages and can be paired with a variety of dishes or snacks which together is seen as a meal or food. You get, right?

I know you like taking coffee alone, so it's not food. Haha.

No I dont get it.

You can live on coffee. So I think you are mistaken. Coffee. Cigarettes. Sex. And some good rock songs.

One can live months on it.

When was the last time you tried something for the first time and didn't like it?

Hmmm...I doubt I can remember one.

What about you?

I ate a snack recently and from the image it looked very tasty, but the taste was horrible. LOL

Lol. It could be a painful experience especially after spending money on it and anticipating the yumminess of the snack, I can imagine the reaction on your face at first bite.

Now I remember one, it was a well decorated cake and I thought it would taste great but it was below my expectation.

A recent one was a chocolate cake my sister bought before I baked my birthday cake, she craved for chocolate cake and it looked good and felt soft, but when I tasted it, it was dry and of low quality. Now I remember a couple of them. Lol.

Dry cake is really terrible... no one deserves to eat like that.

LOL This is cool.

#leoshorts

Wow! I love this. 😍

It is very cool.

I'd love to learn how to prepare shawarma at home 🥺

What is that?

Lol. Now you asked the question like me.

Shawarma is the mixture of meat (could be Chicken, Turkey, beef or sausage), vegetables (cabbage, carrot, tomatoes, lettuce, cucumbers), mayonnaise and ketchup, served on a flat bread, wrapped and heated in the oven or a pan and served as a snack or dish.

I will show you what shawarma looks like.

Ketchup and Mayo? That doesnt sound great?

This guy

This is great. How does it taste.

Okay, I will help you with that.

This is breakfast.

If you have 10 litres of coffee in a day, forget about sleeping for a week.

Yes that is true. Unless it is decaf....then can have 20.

LOL. That tea cup is too small. 10 litres will be fine.

LOL you drink a lot.

LOL need bananas.

Even here at home I need it, because I went looking for it and didn't have it. 😅

Well you will have to make up for that in the future. LOL

It's boring...

I went to make the pancake and when I looked, I couldn't find any banana. My children had eaten and I didn't notice it was finished...

Really... next time I'll make it with bananas.

Just another reason not to have children.

How is this for cutting up fruits and veggies?

#leoshorts

The Banana passed the cutting test. That equipment looks like a local rat trap. Lol.

Get the food content going.

Too bad shorts are not working as planned. Could have been a great addition.

Hmm... I can see the video icon, does it mean it is not for shorts? Can we try it out now?

It gets stuck encoding.

Wow! it needs to be worked on. Now the time will be extended.

Yes it will be.

Hello dear Taskmaster. I can see the video feature on threads. Have you tried it out?

It doesnt work.

Oh no, too bad. Have you heard anything from Khal? Did he drop an update concerning it?

No I havent seen anything so I dont know what is going on.

Hello foodie Lions! Welcome to today's show.

Easy Apple Pie

This recipe is hands down, my favorite apple pie made from scratch! Juicy apple slices are coated in sugar and spices and then baked to perfection inside a flaky homemade pie crust.

No need to worry about mushy apples or a soggy pie crust because this apple pie bakes to perfection every single time!

⏬⏬

Ingredients:

1 box (14.1 oz) refrigerated Pillsbury™ Pie Crusts (2 Count), softened as directed on box
Filling*
6 cups thinly sliced, peeled apples (6 medium)
3/4 cup sugar
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
3/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 tablespoon lemon juice

  1. Heat oven to 425°F. Place 1 pie crust in ungreased 9-inch glass pie plate. Press firmly against side and bottom.

  2. In large bowl, gently mix filling ingredients; spoon into crust-lined pie plate. Top with second crust. Wrap excess top crust under bottom crust edge, pressing edges together to seal; flute. Cut slits or shapes in several places in top crust.

  1. Bake 40 to 45 minutes or until apples are tender and crust is golden brown. Cover edge of crust with 2- to 3-inch wide strips of foil after first 15 to 20 minutes of baking to prevent excessive browning. Cool on cooling rack at least 2 hours before serving.

This looks delicious #foodtalk

Do you like pastry for breakfast?

Whenever possible, I eat cake for breakfast. There are some types that go well with coffee.

A while ago I even took some photos of the tapioca cake that my mother makes.

It is working. Upload a short, it appears on the latest feed. Then you can share it in a threadcast.

My neighbors invited me and my family to try some mocotó broth.

We also took the opportunity to take breaded fish fillet.

The mocotó experience was good, even though I had never tried it before.
