I cannot even get close to my late wifes cooking, but those porkchops turned out tasty.
Awww, you did well to make them tasty. I know you miss her cooking, but you will be fine.
I know I will, just how much time it is going to take is my personal question.
It is a gradual process and will happen slowly and soon you will feel her presence (which I know you already do) and will have nothing to worry about, the only thing is that you won't be able to see her. Your thoughts about her will be good memories and you will get used to it.

This evening I had African salad with vegetables and Cow skin. It was delicious but, I didn't take a photo of it. #foodtalk
Cow skin? What is that like?

Does it taste like chicken? LOL
LOL. It doesn't taste anything close to Chicken. It becomes very soft after cooking it and it has no shred like Chicken or Beef. It is also delicious and enjoyable when eating it.
Some people have it as snacks, spicy and sauced.
Hmm sound different to me.
Oh well. Have to experience I guess.
If you like soft meat, you may like cow skin too. It's locally called "Ponmo" in Nigeria.

I'm thinking, I can just blend Yoghurt and peanut (not peanut butter) and freeze then dip in melted chocolate. It will be good too.
