Were they over 240 characters?
I'm gonna try and check from a block explorer, I'm collecting reports about this

I'm not sure but I saw the sign that the first 240 characters will be displayed. I also had a link on the thread.
How do I create a longer thread, thought I could do that with premium?
Yes, you should be able to. That is a bug and that is what I tested. So both should be on the UI but the one with the image would have not appeared on the general feed anyway.
Try what I suggested about login out and back after clearing caché, it can help too.
I already added this to a bug report. You can also create a main thread (not a reply to other) with the tag feedback explaining the issue
Okay. I'm actually using my laptop, so I just have to logout and login again right?
Tests done; first one, the link from the source does interfere. Links like that can't be on a top level thread, that is why it doesn't show on the general feed.
But both not showing in the UI are because they are longer than 240 characters.
If you are a new premium or newly updated, try login out, clearing caché and login back in.

The owl one do be longer than 240 and also has the link from the source. I'm gonna test if it publish from my profile to see if its because of the link or the 240 character count
