Good evening everyone of the community! I've been watching the crypto market for the past two days and there's been a surge in two very particular memecoins, from two very influential figures at an international level. I'll tell you about it, but first, bring a cup of coffee.
Not only the traders, but I liked to explore the different projects that were coming out, to see how much potential some coins can have. I will start by saying that the concept of a MEMECOIN is very clear, it is a coin that is used for entertainment purposes, there is no serious project behind it.
But the big truth is that about 4 years ago, memecoins like Shiva Inu, Doge, Pepe were "entertainment" coins that made great returns for their investors. Of course all this at your own risk, because the first thing we learn from MEMECOINS is that they are highly volatile coins.
Regarding what has been happening on the X platform in recent days, yesterday the TRUMP memecoin was inaugurated, which was also published from one of his official accounts on X. The political context lends itself to great positivism, since the inauguration of the president-elect of the United States took place yesterday.
The coin started with great uncertainty, then it was confirmed as "official" and is currently even listed on Binance. It started with a price below $ and reached its maximum point in the early hours, Sunday ($72).
After that, it's currently at around $45 per token, but it dropped automatically when the MELANIA token (another memecoin), the wife of the President Elect, was launched. The token started at $6 but the solana network crashed an hour after that announcement. I think it's one of the few times that people crashed the solana network lol.
Currently $MELANIA is at the value of around $4. However it is expected that when the solana network stabilizes again, the coin will rise much more than expected. Without further ado, I wanted to make this small contribution before going to sleep.
