Well it was unsustainable to have like 4000% APR long-term.
This is why it's better to enter the pools quite early. It's a way to make the investment way juicy for those who trust the process to enter right earlier.

That is the idea of the juicy rewards, to try and pull people in. They are going to get rewarded for being an early adopter, where you would think the risk is the greatest.
Nevertheless, even 400% return is still terrific.
