well I would say it is a 50/50 thing, when the incentives finish some will go and the ones who you have managed to gain their attention and interest will stay regardless of if there is any incentive or not.
the best way is to not pick the interest of your real fan with incentives, let them have a reason to always want you as a first choice and with or without incentives they will stay and as Time goes on you can now give out incentives
