you forget the exponential curve in price manipulations that happens with large HBD converting on the edge.

you always have HBD converting + current Hive MC which ends up in an exponential curve ( if abuse on edge). So more HBD can create more Hive. More hive than expected.

This attack could work for someone that doesn't want to overtake the chain. Only constant printing massive amounts of hive and destroy price and the vest value itself.

On a longer timeframe, I'm sure this would work really well.

With a perfect play, it could inflate the system 100%-200% in total hive supply.

It's theoretical. I already post about that.

But even it's not a perfect play, 25% extra inflation can also make dramatic damage.

And yes it's nothing that happens from one day to another, it would need a massive pump before.
