2/2 there is a huge volume of small power users that can make a change but they only vote for the biggest, most known projects and leave behind the less known that could be productive.
More participation and better marketing are needed

We need to change that mentality. People complain that Hive is centralized in the hands of a few and while that may be true, not participating in governance doesnt contribute to change that at all
The reason it gets centralized is because we don't care to grow or influence, we don't use the one we have, we don't support other witnesses nor care to look their projects. Everyone should be using their witness votes.

100% agreed! THis is something we discussed in the Hive-BR community live this week. A lot of people don't participate in governance because they think their vote doesnt matter, but it does.
